Responsible for the resolution of all policy and regulatory issues associated with the worldwide introduction of the Astrolink system, a Ka band digital geostationary satellite system providing on-demand, two-way interactive broadband services. These include spectrum availability, licensing of space segment, gateways and satellite equipment, access to markets, respect of national sovereign rights, and global type approval of earth stations equipment.

Responsible for the resolution of all policy and regulatory issues associated with the worldwide introduction of the Iridium system, including spectrum availability, licensing of space segment, gateways and satellite equipment, access to markets, respect of national sovereign rights, global type approval and free circulation of handheld equipment. Free circulation of handheld equipment was achieved through the establishment of the GMPCS-MoU and Iridium was granted authorization to operate in 167 countries.

In charge of all liaison activities with Governments, Signatories and users of the INTELSAT system, the ITU and all international standard setting organizations. Responsible for spectrum availability and the intersystem coordination of all satellites of the INTELSAT network. Responsible for all INTELSAT training, education, assistance and development programs for telecommunication growth in developing nations (over 250 projects in 118 countries). Direct management of corporate and marketing communication functions, including media relations, exhibits, publications and advertising.
